IBPS PO/MT-XVI Selection Process 2026
The IBPS PO/MT-XVI Selection Process 2026 consists of four stages: Online Preliminary Examination, Online Main Examination, Personality Test, and Common Interview. Only candidates who qualify at each stage move forward to the next, and provisional allotment is done based on the final combined score and vacancies reported by the banks.

Step 3: Personality Test
Candidates who qualify the Main Examination are called for a self-report Personality Test, which is non-qualifying in nature but mandatory to attend for interview eligibility. The Personality Test may be conducted in proctored mode or at designated examination centres, as decided by IBPS.
Step 4: Common Interview
The interview carries 100 marks, with minimum qualifying marks of 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates). The final combined score is calculated using a weightage ratio of 80:20 between the Main Examination and Interview respectively.
