Brief Information: Government of India, Ministry of Railways, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has given a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) vacancies in different Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). Application Fee For All Candidates (except categories mentioned below at SI. No. 2): Rs. 500/- For candidates who being to SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman, Female, Transgender, Minorities and Economically Backward Class (EBC) Candidates: Rs. 250/- Payment Mode: Through Online by using internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI.
Important Dates Starting Date for Apply Online & Payment of Fee: 20-01-2024 Last Date for Apply Online & Payment of Fee: 19-02-2024 up to 23:59 Hrs Dates for Modification window for corrections in application form with payment of modification fee (Please Note: Details filled in ‘Create an Account’ form and Chosen RRB cannot be modified): 20-02-2024 to 29-02-2024 Tentative Date of CBT 1 exam: Held between June and August 2024 Date of CBT-1 Exam : 25-11-2024 to 29-11-2024 City Intimation Slip for candidates with exam Dates 25-11-2024 will go live on 15-11-2024. For candidates with exam dates from 26-11-2024, 27-11-2024, 28-11-2024 and 29-11-2024, City Intimation Slip will be activated from 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th Nov 2024 respectively. Tentative Date of CBT 2 (Second Stage) exam: September 2024 Date of Aptitude Test (CBAT): November 2024 After Aptitude Test, Shortlist for Document Verification will be released in November 2024/ December 2024. Date for Application Modification Window: 29-07-2024 (00:00 Hrs) to 07-08-2024 (23:59 Hrs.) Please Note: The Centralised Employment Notification for the next cycle of recruitment to the post of ALP is provisionally planned for issue in January 2025.
Age Limit (as on 01-07-2024) Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years Maximum Age Limit: 33 Years Age Relaxation is Applicable as per Rules.
Qualification Candidates Should Posses Matriculation/ SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/ SCVT in relevant trades. Note: Diploma/ Degree (Relevant Engg Disciplines) can be Acceptable
